The Audi Q5 has slightly more room than the Audi Q3. The Q5 has 40.9 in and 38.0 inches of legroom in the front and rear seats, respectively. On the other hand, the Audi Q3 has 40.0 inches of legroom in the front and 36.1 inches in the rear. However, overall, both cars have a good amount of legroom for all passengers.


If you're looking for more cargo space, then the Audi Q5 might be the better car for you. It has 40/20/40 rear-folding seats that help you maximize your cargo space from 25.8 cubic ft to 54.0 cubic ft when they are folded down. Whereas the Audi Q3 has 48 cubic ft of cargo space with the rear seats folded down and 23.7 cubic ft when they are up.

In terms of the exterior, the Audi Q3 has LED headlights and rear fog lights. The Audi Q5, on the other hand, has full LED headlights with a DRL signature and LED taillights with dynamic turn signal. If we move to the interior, the Audi Q5 has a 12.3-inch instrument display, which allows drivers to customize the screen to their liking. The driver can choose from the Classic, Sport, and Dynamic modes. Lastly, the Audi Q3 also has a 12.3-inch digital cluster.

The Q5 also comes with Audi connect® that provides information about directions, weather, and traffic conditions. Both the Audi Q3 and Audi Q5 are powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine. However, the Audi Q5 boosts a stronger 261 hp and 273lb-ft of torque, whereas the Audi Q3 has 184 hp and a rate of 221lb-ft of torque. The Audi Q5 also has a faster acceleration time of 5.7 seconds in comparison to the 8.6 second acceleration time of the Audi Q3. So, if speed and power are important for you, the Audi Q5 might be the better car between the two. 

Both the Q3 and the Q5 have the quattro® all-wheel drive, but the Q5 also comes with  ultra® technology. The Q3 has MacPherson strut front suspension and a four-link rear suspension. The Q5 however, has a five-link suspension - Audi comfort suspension in both the front and the rear. The Q3 has Eight-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission, whereas the Q3 has a Seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission.
